That's fairly vacuous, apart from saying that truth is not usefulness.
Yeah, you could argue they are vacuous, but they are *accurate*, which is what is important. Some people do debate what "true" and "false" should mean (e.g. metaphorical truth), but they don't bring anything of value to the table.
It doesn't bring anything to define things in terms of synonyms .
Have you looked in a dictionary? That's how all words are defined.
